If you're looking for something to keep you cool, that's a combination of a "mild fan", and an A.C. that blows out relatively decent amount of cool air up close, this may work for you. I like the fact that the device lights up in different colors, which can serve as a night light. What you want to do is: 1) submerge the removable vent in water for about 5 minutes, then put it in the freezer, for 5-10 minutes or until it's reasonably frozen. 2) Take ice cubs from your freezer and run them under water until they're small enough to fit inside the top of the device, where, you're encouraged to place cold water in for cooler air. Once you've followed those two steps you should be pretty ok depending on the humidity at your place.

At first blush, the product seems to have been hyped a bit. It will not really cool a “space,” but when blowing directly on you provides a good stream of moist, cooled air. I get very hot while styling my hair and applying make up following a shower. This is a welcome relief! I gotta admit, I’ve fallen in love with my little “swamp cooler.” Be sure to wet the “curtain” inside before use! It practically doubles cooling performance. Do expect too much and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. It’s also VERY quiet. It just feels really nice. I would think it would be a lifesaver for women suffering hot flushes. I’m going to try freezing the “curtain” inside to add some cool.Smart product and you can purchase with confidence!

This has been perfect for my stuffy, hot office. With the warmer months approaching I knew I could suffer in my office like I did last summer. This has been perfect to set right in my desk. It doesn’t take up a lot of room at all. It may be small but it is mighty! It keeps the room and me cool! I like that it operates quietly since I’m using it while on conference calls and while working.
